The Loud Dog Fall Soundtrack
The rise of the open office has made headphones and music an essential part of the workday for many and it’s no different here at the Loud Dog office. Though we love collaborating at a coworker’s desk or brainstorming on our comfy red couches, most of the time, we’ve all got headphones on and are listening to our favorite jams on Spotify. We thought we’d give you a taste of Loud Dog culture by taking a look at some of our favorite songs of the moment.
“Futurecop!” by Star Worshiper with Dianne Gen and Starrset
I love Futurecop! Right now I’m going through this 80’s electro-dance-synth-pop phase. Futurecop! is refreshing, because they just have this unique retro remixed sound and their album covers totally rock. -Brian the designer/engineer
“Through the Fire and the Flames” by DragonForce
I turn to power metal when I have to buckle down and get some work done, and this is one of the fastest songs out there (something like 300bpm). It was one of the few power metal songs to go mainstream (as mainstream as this genre goes, at least), and was actually featured on Guitar Hero. -Josh the bossman
“Earth Versus the World” by The Polish Ambassador
This one has gotten me through some good creative sessions recently and it gets stuck in my head pretty often. I can’t say I love the music video, but I do really enjoy the song. It just has such a great danceability rating for me. I feel like I can chair dance at work to this one pretty well. -Jodi the art director
“You Know You Like It” by AlunaGeorge
This song has been stuck in my head for days! I love that it’s part electronic, part pop, part R&B, and that you can hear the singer’s British accent in her vocal style.” -Emily the web producer
“Final Countdown” by Europe
Of course, there’s one song that we can all agree on at Loud Dog. Every time we launch a new site for a client, the triumphant tones of this Arrested Development favorite can be heard throughout the streets of North Beach.
Hey! This wasn't written by a herd of yaks! It was written by Emily Meinhardt, who does awesome work at Loud Dog, a digital branding firm in San Francisco that helps businesses express themselves authentically via identities, websites, and marketing collateral.
